So recently my hdd broke and I had to buy a new one, I had some tech guy come here and install the new hdd and I had to clean my whole pc so I did a fresh install of windows 10. Now when I try to install my TP-Link archer drivers it just freezes on me, like i cant move my mouse. I also tried using driver booster 3 and it found some new driver updates for my components but same thing there, right before it finishes my pc freezes and I have to do an hard restart and when It comes back up my drivers arent installed... I did use proper drivers for my archer from tp-links website but it still doesnt work... Help would be appreciated.

Does it only do this for these specific drivers or are you having other issues aswell? My guesses would be (in order of likeliness):
1) Something stopping the installation, like an antivirus program,
2) A bad driver (Try and find an older version on the TP Link website)
3) A bad windows install (Unlikely if you aren't seeing any other issues with your PC)

It does this for all drivers... Im not having any other issues I guess. I only have windows defender no other antivirus programs. Im thinking of resetting windows again, mabye that tech guy did install some wierd things on my pc at his store xD

Take a look in add or remove programs and see if there's anything strange that you might not need. You could try installing the driver in safe mode if you like.
