I would totally agree with popatim. You need to use some partition/data recovery software tools.
Apart from that, similar partition loss could be caused by several things:
- The drive is failing. After you recover your data, you can check the drive's health out with one of these: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/282651-32-best-diagnostic-testing-utility
Look for pending/reallocated/uncorrectable sectors.
- Drive disconnection during data transfer. Have you use the safe ejection function? In case you haven't, it may be a good idea to do so.
