gigabyte g-41 M Combo is not support radeon 5450. is it compatible with that

the 5450 specs says that it requires- PCI Express® 2.0 or higher version based PC is required with one X16 lane graphics slot available on the motherboard in order for the card to be compatible with. which is available in g41.
it is a pretty good mobo, so it should not be the cause.
by the way, has it worked before? if yes it might be some driver issue..
