I was using this software called CD Burner XP, And got a error message saying file is bigger then 25 GB same for 50 GB. I mean I'm only burning 10 GB. I only had one of each disc 1 50 GB and 1 25 Gb wasted for nothing.
I bought my Blu-ray burner brand new. It's a LG Super Multi Blue Internal 14x Blu-ray Disc Rewriter WH14NS40. I even checked the Tech Specs 100% It burns all formats.
But then I tried using a 8.5 DVD-R Blank Disc I tried it he old fashioned way. I put it in, went to My Computer, Clicked on the DVD Drive, it asked me if I wanted it to burn as a usb or permanent i chose permanent so files won't be dragged and droped. I throw a 5 GB file it showed it as temporary and clicked on burn few mins it worked, I tried using CD Burner XP throw the 5 GB file into the program and clicked burn I got a message saying "File is larger then 8.5 GB" Came to my mind do I keep burning data the old fashioned way with out any software like I did 6 years ago.
Why can't the software accept the software burning method? rather then just drag and drop into the blank CD then just click burn Like I did in the 2000's
