i5 4670k high temps with prime95

Max temps with prime95 small test instantly jumped to aroud 90c and with aida64 sys stability test they went to about 75c. Does prime95 stress test more or something, when gaming temps never go above 70c.

Vcore was is 1.23 @ 4.3GHz

also i have Hyper 212 Evo, fan was running at full speed.

Just did the same test with v26.6, max was 80c. but i did notice while stress testing that while my core#0 shows 80c, my core#3 shows 70c. I should propably try reseating the cooler?

Wouldn't hurt, also when applying the thermal paste, do a straight vertical line along the middle of the chip instead of the traditional drop, I found this works better with Haswell and Ivy bridge. My 4790k OC'd to 4.5GHz maxes at around 75-77c running prime95 with the CM Evo 212 with 2 fans in a pull-push config.
