I'm going to build a PC soon, and I was wondering if this build would be adequate for games @ 1080p and 60fps. Also, will I need any extra case fans? Thanks for checking out my post!

P.S. is this PC VR-Ready? Not going to get an HMD, but I want to know if I ever plan on getting one.

EDIT: Just realized I didn't even put the PCPP link, woops! Here it is; http://pcpartpicker.com/p/4ChZnQ

Hey Sweedish. Your PC looks good.
- The GTX 970 is certainly capable of playing virtaully every game at frames near, or greater than 60 on max settings. Most games will even run around 70+ fps.
- The GPU is VRH compatible, however I wouldn't expect frames as high as 60 when using it.
- I noticed your Asus monitor runs at 60hz. This means that it can't display any frames greater than that. If you want to take full advantage of the GTX 970, you may want to look into a monitor that refreshes at a greater rate.
- Regarding case I'd certainly recommenced additional fans. Since none of your components are water cooled, all of the air from the hot components will be released into the case. The 970 also runs fairly "hot", so make sure you add...

Overall, you'll certainly be able to get 60+ fps no problem. Everything looks good; just make sure you have fans :)
