I've been trying to download windows 7 on a USB and when I get to the installer it doesn't show my hard-drive. But when I go inside my BIOS it says it's there, what should I do?

Solution
The windows installer wont show drives that it thinks may already have an OS on it. On that screen, click 'Drive Options' and locate the boot drive you wish to use (should be the only drive connected - if not the do yourself a favor and power off and disconnect all other hdd's/ssd's) and delete all the partitions (please have any important files already backed up) then select the now unallocated drive and click Next.
