So I recently replaced my computer case and connected everything... But my 4-pin cpu connection. I pressed the power button and it turned on for a literal spilt second; fans turned on and hdd light. I did that 3-4 times and opened my case and realized I didn't connect the 4-pin connector. I plugged it in and my computer did not power on at all. Did I mess up my mobo, cpu? Please resond asap so I can buy a new mobo/cpu :) :??:

Solution
If that was the only mistake you made, it should not have damaged the m/b or CPU. Check and see what else you may have done wrong or forgotten to do. For instance, did you add an extra standoff under the board that isn't used? it could be shorting out the bottom of the m/b.
