I have recently purchased a V-Guard Sesto Dx 600 UPS. Unfortunately, in India (Where I live) there is a power cut issue. Ideally UPS is just for backup whenever there is power loss. It should provide me at least of 5-7 minutes of backup to shut down my computer. Guess what, It doesn't happen so. I have been facing this problem since day one. Changed my UPS for about 3 times still the same problem exist. Whenever there is a power cut my computer automatically goes into a loop. I don't have any control over it after that. These are my PC specs:

  • Nvidia GTX 970
    AMD FX 8320
    PSU 550W Corsair
    CM Air Cooler 103
    ASUS M5A97 R2.0
    ADATA 128GB SSD
    Seagate 1TB HDD
    Dell Monitor S2216H

Now my UPS features are:

  • Model: SESTO DX
    Output Voltage: 230V AC±10%, 50 Hz±1%
    Output Waveform: Pseudo Sine Wave
    Indications: Visual and Audio
    Cabinet Dimensions (mm): 279x101x142
    Product Warranty: 24 Months
Off-mode battery charging with high voltage protection
Backup time : 10 -15 minutes at battery full charge condition
    Capacity: 600VA/300W
Application: One computer with 43 cm TFT monitor & one printer (except laser printer)
    Battery Details: 12V, 7Ah - 1 No
    Cabinet Details: ABS, Black
    Weight (Kg): 4.2
    Battery Warranty: 24 Months
    In built ZPD technology

My total Wattage for the PC is approx 400W. I don't think my ups is able to support that. Please help.
