Hello to the helpful! I've started buying upgrade parts for a 4-5 yr old BNIB HP p6710f and already have an AMD Phenom ll X6 1075T cpu, a Corsair 650w psu and 16GB of DDR3 memory. It came w/ integrated graphics/sound but will take a discreet card. Can anyone tell me which 'best/next best' Pci Express X16 card is out there that will work on my N-Alvorix-RS880-uATX mobo. It has 1333/1066/800MHz fbs and AMD chipset. I haven't got the 'puter here, so I can't measure the internal dimensions...I have a 27" ASUS monitor w/ 1ms response time at 1920X1080 HD.
Hopefully this is enough of the correct info for the knowledgeable folks that I'm asking for help?
I'm hoping someone else has done this same/similar type of upgrade, or can point me in the right direction to finish the task. Going to be playing PvZ Garden Warfare2, Flight sims and racing games w/ flight stick/wheel 'n pedals hardware. Computer was FREE, otherwise I would just buy/build a newer unit.
