I currently use a wired Xbox 360 controller.

I want to go wireless.

My two options:

  • ■Xbox 360 wireless controller (£32) + official receiver (£14)
    ■Xbox One wireless controller (£50) + official receiver (£20)
Are there any PC games that currently even take advantage of the extra features of the Xbox One controller?

I also have lots of experience with Xbox 360 controllers in the past and Xbox One controllers now.

The new features aren't that big of a deal to me but I prefer the Xbox One controller simply because it feels better in my hands. Also the D-pad is greatly improved if you care about that.

To me the Xbox One controller is just better all around. I guess you just have to decide if those improvements make a big enough difference to justify the extra money for you. For me they did.

That being said, the 360 controller is still a great gamepad. It's just second place for me.

The main new Xbox One controller hardware feature is the new vibrators within the triggers that allow for directional haptic feedback.

I wondered if any PC games actually used the feature.

Oh, that part. Yea, they do. Haven't tried on anything too new, but SoM had haptics if I remember it correctly
