So i started to hate being downstairs with my pc because i cant play normaly my parents get into work room so i really want to have my pc on 2nd floor (its right on top of my wifi router) when i checked wifi speed (with my moms laptop, i have a desktop) its was around 90mbps down/up (we pay for 100mbps network) so i taught can u help me select an wifi adapter. I have 2 options: USB Adapter (all my usbs are 2.0) or Mini PCIe Adapter. I need advice fast :)

EDIT: I Love gaming so I need good for gaming too

EDIT: ATM I think about this USB adapter:
Netgear AC1200 WiFi USB 3.0 Adapter 1PT (A6210)

EDIT: My Router supports 5Ghz

No wifi is necessarily good for gaming. You always take the risk that you get interference which greatly affects games. You want to use powerline rather than wireless if gaming is your main focus.

I assume this is a desktop since most laptop have wireless. You are best off using a USB extension cable to get the adapter away from the metal case. You really have to read the specs because many USB adapters are designed to be used on portable equipment where battery life is a issue. This means the devices do not transmit at the maximum power which reduces your speed and range.

Also you need to test to see how strong the signal is on the 5g band. Buying 802.11ac will buy you very little if you can not get a strong signal and have to use the 2.4g band which does not support 802.11ac.
