Hello,
I recently tried my hand at DOTA and I'd now like to try DOTA2. As it is free to play, I was wondering if I could get the game from my friend..
The thing is that I don't have a reliable internet connection and I can't afford to update the game on a regular basis. My friend has a very good broadband connection and regularly updates his copy of DOTA2.
I'd like to know whether it is possible to copy the contents of his steam folder into my PC have have it running??
