16gb vs 8gb

Seen a good deal on a 16gb ram kit, is it worth the outlay considering I have 8gb in my system (all ddr3)- main use for gaming.

Personally I don't think it's really worth it. Very few games will use it. And if you want to upgrade to DDR4 it's money wasted unless you'll find use for it.

For gaming a big NO, but if you are into video editing or running virtual machines on your PC then, a big YES
