How much modding would it take to fit a 420mm in the front of an Enthoo Luxe? I already have a 420mm radiator at the top, but want to use the front for another 420mm radiator. Is this possible?

Solution
I've got a similar problem. I'm looking for parts for a new pc and I want to buy a case that could handle 2x 420mm rads. There are only few, that can have two thick radiators in. But all of them have really bad cons. Here they are :
Thermaltake Urban T81
NZXT Switch 810
Coming up EVGA dg-8 series
And of course Phanteks Enthoo Primo and Corsair 900D

Thermaltake's case has not got so beautiful design, NZXT Switch is extremely rare to buy(only when u don't leave in USA, like me), EVGA is constructed different than the others, so it can be I appropriate for someone, who prefers standards, Corsair and Phanteks are not cheap.

You'd need to give up all your 3.5" drive mounting spots as well as your 5.25" drive bay since you'll need to remove anything obstructing your front radiator mounting endeavor. That being said, judging from this pic

You can achieve a maximum of 360mm of radiator space at the front but you'll need to be mindful of your radiator's thickness and the orientation of your rad's ports since they can probably will conflict your top mounted rad's orientation, placement and thus the overall temps in your system.

Taken off your manual + the watercooling sticky(in my sig space) you're probably overdoing it with that many internally mounted radiators. I'd say you're more than comfortable to undervolt your fans on that 480mm but you'll get extra headroom with adding a 240 at the front which is also the highest rad suggested for support on your case as per Phantek's designers.

Hi Lutfij, I appreciate your reply and suggestions, I've been pondering over this since I posted it. I came to realise even if I could fit a 420mm in the front, it would probably obstruct the existing 420mm rad at the top, which sucks :/

The reason why I wanted another 420mm at the front is because yes, the case can natively support a 240mm rad at the front but I don't want to go back to 120mm fans again. Every fan in my case is 140mm and I see going back to 120mm fans as a downgrade.

What I'll probably do is add a single 140mm rad at the rear exhaust to make the equivalent of a 560mm radiator, when taking the existing 420mm rad at the top into consideration. That'll tie me over until I can find a suitable case to support dual 420mm radiators.

Cheers anyway :)
