Hi,
I have very low level knowledge in area of GPU and overclocking. I have bought this GPU few days ago, but temperature at my place where I am living is way too hot this season and even I do not have any water cooling system as I cannot afford it. Recent game I played with GPU is Witcher 3 at ULTRA settings and Temperature just heating up to above 70 Deg. I have 1080p display. I tried using AMD Crimson global overdrive utility for lowering power and gpu core clock and memory and it reduced the temperature level to 59 deg. But I am wondering if it would damage my GPU. Also saving up some money from electricity bill wouldn't hurt by doing underclock too. So someone with well experienced please help me how do I adjust this settings to a underclock level which won't damage the gpu but will also let me play games at High settings like for Witcher?. I do not need that much of power and I don't mind if games lag a little sometimes.
here are my present CPU config:
128gb SSD intel, 1+3 TB HDD, 256gb HDD,
Asus rw-dvd rom
i5 - 4th gen - 4570 , 3.2ghz
Corsair CX750M
Ashrok Z87 pro3
Ram 16gb G skill.
Case : Cooler Master CM690 III - 2 thermal tek fan 120mm x 120mm at top, 2 Cooler master 180mm front x 120mm back.
