Hello all.

I just purchased Kingston HyperX FURY 16GB Kit (2x8GB) 1866MHz DDR3 CL10 DIMM http://amzn.com/B00J8E8Y5C

The new RAM is causing my computer to turn off, then turn on and then turn off again every few seconds and nothing shows on my monitor.

My old sticks are G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231277.

I have a Gigabyte GA-Z68A-D3H-B3 motherboard.

I tried putting in only one of the new sticks in at a time and still does not work. I updated my BIOS. I tried resetting CMOS. I take out the new RAM and put my old back in and the computer works fine. I apologize as I know this is a common question but all the solutions I have found does not seem to help.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

I figured it out...I had to manually set my RAM to 1333MHz in BIOS. I guess Gigabyte decided not to keep their old motherboards up to date with new drivers.
Contact Kingston for support.
I used their memory finder app and did not see your ram as a supported option.
One thing you can try is to increase the ram voltage in the bios a notch.
You might have to use the old ram to get to the bios first.

Should be compatible, support for the PnP that the Fury uses began with the P67 chipset. The Z68s didn't get the support they should have in BIOS matters as the chipset was sort of short lived, I'd check with both mobo and DRAM maker, Kingston has a rep here you can PM, goes by KingstonHQ
