Hi, I recently purchased an MSI R9 390x and for some reason whatever I play the temps are between 85 and 90 degrees Celsius when gaming and exactly 30 degrees on idle, cable management is also pretty good. I've tried replacing the thermal paste, which helped, and i added a large 200mm fan to the side of my case to pull out the hot air. There is no dust and i barely overclocked the card. I also have a custom fan curve which is pretty aggressive in terms of speeds. I'm wondering if there's any way to cool this card down here are my specs:

Asus Maximus vii hero
Intel i7 4790k
corsair 600t case
corsair ax850 power supply
corsair h100i gtx cooler
16 gb g.skill ddr3 ram

Solution
The default fan profile for R9 290X/390X lets the temps rise to 95°C inorder to maximize the transfer of heat and to keep noise down.
Nothing to worry about; it is designed to run this hot without any issues.

Ya but I get similar temps even without an overclock and aren't these temps a little high even for amd?
