All the parts were brought new most from Amazon but I cannot remember what login I used when buying them. The PSU was also brought new but wasnt purchased from a corsair outlet therefore the warranty wont cover that either.
you can use cosair online warranty checker to see if it under warranty. with amazon all you need is call/email them your info they can help you recover the account. and or send you by email proof of payment for warranty.

I am no good with Intel builds so I'm guessing my mobo is OTT and perhaps the CPU also, if as you say the i5 would be equally as good. I am on quite the tight budget as I am saving for my holiday to Australia at the same time. However gaming is an important aspect of my life too therefore Im willing to spend some of my savings.
if you have a friend with a volt meter. put a fan load or a hard drive load on the unit and use the green to black wire trick to jumper the unit on. then with a volt meter check the voltage on the 24 pin atx. you can find the voltage on atx power supply wiki. if the power supply is good or may be good it should turn on and output some voltages with the green wire trick.
