Does the Asrock 970 Extreme4 support Galaxy GTX 670 GC 4GB?

I am at the absolute end of my limit.

MOBO: Asrock 970 Extreme4
RAM: Corsair XMS3 8GB total
PSU: Corsair RM850
CPU: FX-6300
GPU: 2x Galaxy GTX 670 GC 4GB

I was running this originally with a Gigabyte GTX 460 and it was running fine. Now that I have these new cards, none of them work with it, and I'm not sure why. It won't post at all, and when I have both in it gives me the beep code that says no VGA. I got both of these cards off of Ebay, and they were both perceived to be working when I got them around Christmas last year. I thought that maybe if I kept fiddling with it I could get it to work, but I don't know what's wrong.

I originally got both of them for SLI, and that won't work because none of the cards post. When I power up my computer, the fans just spin, and if fiddle around to get it to work, but still no posting. My old card still works with it and powers it up, so the only thing that it could be is the video cards, (which is highly unlikely because for them both not to work would be very unlikely) or a compatibility issue, such as the PSU not giving enough on the rail for video card or something like that.

Please help me....I'm hoping its really not the video cards, but just please help me. Thanks in advance!

Then I suggest you find a college friend or someone at home that will let you try them on their machine. You don't even know if you are dealing with good cards or not. Once you know for sure the cards are OK, then you can proceed with some troubleshooting.

There's no reason I can think of that the cards should not work in SLI on that board as long as you have them in the first 2 x PCIe x16 slots. SLI won't work in the x4 slot. Have you tried each card individually in the first slot? It's beginning to sound like they are dead cards. Do you have a friend that will let you try them (individually) in his machine?

I have tried them in each slot...but I don't have a friend that will let me test...since I'm at college....

What else can I do? Is there something weird or something not compatible?

Did you buy the cards used? Have you ever tested them since getting them?
