Ok guys so here's the deal. I spent the best part of my life gaming, all of which has been on console.
Having just come back from a weeks suspension on psn, and only 3 days later having been suspended by Sony for a whole month, I have decided to give up on the fascists and move to PC.
Now I'm not completely lost when It comes to PC and disassembley of electronic devices as I've managed to disassemble my PS4, modify it and put it back together.
However as far as building a PC I'm completely clueless. My brother an I inherited a gaming PC that I believe was built back in 2004 sometime, and my foolish brother decided to upgrade it.
Basically he figured he'd buy a new graphics card, slap on some rediculous RAM and be good.
After about a week of playing the PC it shit itself and died whilst playing ROME Total War, and now the bastad won't even light up or turn on.
I'm assuming one of two things happened, either the power supply gave up or the motherboard toasted itself to death, either way, to put it in laymans terms, it's fucked.
So basically here's what I think is salvageable.
1. The Tower Case
2. The RAM
3. The graphics card (a measly Sapphire HD 7750 1GB GDDR5)
4. The hard drive (probably should upgrade it, as it's old as fuck)
5. Some fans mounted to thE case.

That's about it. I basically have to build a functioning gaming PC out of this. I would really like to hit 1080p resolution but I heard that'd be stretching the card, and really I only want to achieve 1080p at 60fps as my Panasonic Plasma which I play on will only display that anyway.
Really I only want it so I can play DAY Z and watch porn on, and I've got a budget of £200 or about $300. I know the graphics card ain't great, maybe it's posible to run 2 via SLI (Some Ludicrous Initiative, I actually have the old one laying around somewhere, the guy ran STAR WARS KOTOR on it).
I'd really like to start off with a I3 cpu, but I'm lost wit what motherboard and power supply to use with it, and whether that would support two pissed cheap graphics cards?
Basically I'm looking for a PC guru or genie or anyone to help me fix my pc and get my ass back online gaming before I go mad from withdrawal.

Solution
So basically you are looking at all new computer ? Case may be usable of all of that. 2xHD7750 is not double the power of one as combined memory on them would still be only 1GB.
