Is this a good Gaming Pc build is will unbalanced Cpu and gpu severely effect Fps?

Im planning on building a gaming pc but as of now im not sure of what cpu and graphics card to get but i plan on playing games like Gta 5 Fallout 4 bo3 ect. I've already seen a build with a Zotac GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB Video Card and a Intel Core i3-2100 3.1GHz Dual-Core Processor with 4 gb of ram run those games reasonably but to be on the safe side i was thinking of using a
Intel Core i5-6600 3.3 GHz Quad-Core Processor - 6 MB - LGA1151 Socket and instead of 4gb of ram im using 8gb. Im really just looking to see if this build will be more than reasonable and if the Intel Core i5-6600 3.3 GHz Quad-Core Processor - 6 MB - LGA1151 Socket will be a better choice and if it is true that if my Cpu and Gpu are unbalanced i wont be able to achieve good fps

Solution

I haven't actually checked the compatibility so I am going to do that now.
edit: nevermind, all work fine

The current build you have in mind: (Depending on your budget) Is good, the 6600 paired with the 750 ti is powerful.
You may need a power supply upgrade, around 500+, The 750 ti requires 300 W minimum, and if you go for a higher PSU then you can always upgrade to a better GPU.

TLDR; Use the 750 ti and the 6600 with a 500-600W PSU, (Make sure the parts fit in your case)...

That is a very I would say, lower tier CPU that you can get.
How much is your budget?
And yes, a CPU that is not that good will indeed bottleneck the 750 ti.

1. Don't go with 4 GB of ram, 8 is the minimum you would need to run those games at a good framerate
2. The i3 has a less amount of cores (obviously) and that can mean less processing power, and a possible bottleneck for the 750 ti

It's always better to go with the more expensive build if you want to play more intensive games, and you do, if you just wanted to e.g. play CS:S or some other old and not so hardware intensive I would go for the cheaper build and upgrade when you feel you should.

And to answer it all in TLDR; For those games you will achieve quite a low FPS, but the upgrade is worth it especially for black ops 3.

Alright. This is my first time building a pc so im not sure what im really doing. I have 2 computers i plan to salvage parts from. If you could possibly link me to a good cpu that would be great also is the Graphics card good or do i need a different one?

Thanks alot I plan on buying better parts possibly building a rig over $2000 after schools over so i can work. So just curious are Ram Cpu and graphics card the only parts that affect Fps in games or are their any other partd i should worry about

Yes, the Ram, CPU and GPU are the only parts that generally affect the framerate, they are all for processing, ram is for temp memory.

Make sure your power supply fits the needs of the CPU and GPU, 300 watts is the minimum for the 750 ti.
