Hey guys!

So I am gonna build my first CSGO PC.
Because I am still a noob at this, I need some help.

I already have these parts: (I won't replace these)
Samsung 840 250Gb SSD
Palit GTX 560 Ti
LG Optical Drive
Ms-tech Ms-n550-val Rev.b PSU

And I have a 200 max euro budget for a CPU, Case, RAM and Motherboard. (I live in the Netherlands)
I was thinking of:
MSI A68HM-E33 V2
AMD Athlon x4 860k
Crucial DDR3 1600Mhz 2x4Gb RAM
Aerocool GT Black Advance

My old pc was a DDR2 4Gb RAM, Intel Core2 Q8300, so every new CPU and RAM will be an upgrade for me. The new pc must play CSGO with decent framerates (High settings not a must!).
I have a 768p monitor by the way :D

Is this a fine pc build? Advice, help, feedback, comments are all welcome!

The PSU is the one component that can damage the rest of the system when it fails, it is usually considered the most important component as it feeds the rest of the system power. Cheap PSU's have far less protection built in and a greater chance of failure due to low quality components and build standards. You might be ok using your old one but you are taking a risk which could be expensive if it fails. That is why we recommend getting a good one

Why will it damage my system?
My old PC needed more Watts than my new build and that went fine.
Thanks for your quick reply!

It is certainly possible. Its a low quality unit and will be able to do less for you as it ages. I personally wouldn't use it to power a light bulb let alone a system.

It is a new PSU recommended by my local computer shop tho

Oh! Thats not good. I would try to return it if possible. You should really try to get multiple opinions if possible on your builds to avoid having something like this happen in the future.
