I'm getting a continuous beep coming from my computer when I'm running prime95 and furmark. Where is this coming from? I can't locate where the beep is but its loud and it stops when i disable one of the programs. Could it be my PSU or my mobo?

My motherboard is a Asus M4N68T M V2
My CPU is a AMD Phenom II x4 965
Graphics card is Nvidia GTX 660.
PSU is Antec Basiq 500W

Solution
Do you use software to monitor your temperatures? It's likely that its the case speaker and your BIOS is using it to tell you that your CPU is overheating.
I will put it this way, what would you do
If something was wrong or not right, or you broke your leg ?

Shout for help?

Well that is what the system is doing by making such a noise, drawing your attention to a fact that, something is not right with it!
Needing to be checked over.
Asking you to take a look at it, to confirm the problem.

Just like waiting for a doctor to confirm your Leg is indeed broken, and something is badly wrong with you, not normal.
Or me saying to you, or asking what is wrong? why are you shouting for help ?

Your PC is the patient, your the Doctor...

Funny analogy ! but true.
