I want to connect a MSI GTX 970 SLI GPU and a AMD A10 7870K CPU and i wonder if it will work.
If you are wondering why do i choose the AMD A10 CPU instead of Intel Core 7 well its because i don't have own 500$ to buy a small peace i would rather take something thats only 200$ and its is nice.

Solution
Why wasting your money on an A10 when you don't plan to use it's GPU? Get at least an AMD processor without integrated GPU, like AMD FX-8300, 8320, 9520...
That's 8 CPU cores versus only 4 on A10.

I agree if you can get at least an 8320/50 if intending to get a discrete GPU i would do so to avoid bottle necks. APU's busy them selves with onboard graphics and wouldn't get the same performance paired with a powerful GPU as you would with an FX CPU.

I don't get you, some of those CPU's are the same price like A10 and have double the cores. Better ones are fitting perfectly inside the $200 limit. Did you even check the prices?
