Hi,

I need help in purchasing a monitor for my computer and PS4. I would like to have a setup that enables me to switch on either platforms on the fly. I have a 27" tv but when I connect it to my computer, the color gamut is hard to the eyes and it doesn't look any closer to my 1080p monitor.

My preferred screen size is between 24 to 27 only since I have a small desk. I do not game heavily on my computer and anything that works with my PS4 is fine. i just need a monitor that can display my pc and PS4 well.

Hi Chris,

Thank you for your response. How can I determine whether it will play the sound on my ps4 or not (through HDMI). I purchased a monitor with built in speakers but it wasn't working when I played games on my ps4.

because PS4 supports only digital audio you may need extra cables , adapters to convert to analog.

go through this guide , will help to get sound through the monitor you have already purchased.

truth is im not sure the asus monitors are digital audio capable.! bottom line , even if they arent , the extra equipment isnt expensive.
