Hey guys i just bought a new Corsair vs450 psu, HyperX 8gb 1866 ram and a gigabyte gtx960 2gb and upgraded my old pc Gigabyte h61m-s1 rev2.1 mobo and core i3-3210! So now after putting everything together.. I happened to touch my case and got a minor shock which I suspect is due to earthing but my old pc which had a shitty psu never acted this way! I have a good surge protector and proper grounding in my whole house! I even checked the mobo standoffs.. And even they are correctly fixed! So what could be the problem? I've heard Vs series is not so good but i thought its corsair so it has to be reliable and enough to power a 960.. So please help guys!

Solution
Then you have a problem with your earthing.
As a first step you may want to get one of these and plug it in where your pc is plugged into to see if you have an earth ; http://
Or get an electrician to test the earth from the socket you are plugged into.
