I recently build a new pc. Have been able to play many games like rise of the tomb raider on max out settings with no issue. I played battlefield 4 for about an hour today and my game crashes and my pc restarts on it own. I had presion x on to monitor temps. My cpu was around 47c and my video cards were in the 64c range no higher with the fans about 74%. I dont know what happened all my components are brand new.

my pc specs

msi gaming 7 motherboard
i75820k at 3.30 water cooled with cosair 110igt
32gb lpx running at 2800 xmp
GTX 980ti sc running in sli
CORSAIR RM1000X 1000W

Your power supply may be defected. I actually had the exact same experience, but when battlefield 3 first came out. Played for about 30min-1hr and then BOOM pc would shutdown and restart. RMA my crappy Rosewill power supply at the time and bought a Corsair TX series PSU...never had the issue again.
