Hello,

I am thinking of building a skylake pc and for that I was looking for the cheapest motherboard for i5 6600. I have found ASUS B150M K.

It seems to be a really good mobo with support for usb 3.1 but the problem is that the mobo mentions support of dd3/ddr3l memory only. Nowhere does it mention anything about ddr4 memory support and supported ram speeds. Can anybody help me with this issue.

Additionally can anyone tell me whether CRUCIAL BALLISTIX RAM 8GB DDR4-2666 MHZ will work with it or not.

Thanking in advance.

Solution
If you read carefully the ASUS B150M K D3 model uses DDR3. The model you listed says DDR4.

Huh? The B150 chipset is superior to the H110 in every way, and tends to costs more, not less. Unless you meant to say H170? If that's the case, I would still disagree, as the differences between H170 and B150 seem like they would have little impact on the average user.
