Good day guys :D I'm going to make it short, i am facing some issues regarding RAM timings
just a few days ago i noticed (thanks to CPU-Z & AIDA64) that my memory settings aren't set to run as they supposed to.

So i enter Bios and check the timings then setting everything manually to the correct value, double checking /quit & save/booting windows/starting software and what do you see, almost none of the changes i set took effect ! well at least that's what AIDA and CPU-Z say... whom i trust.

This my memory : 1x 4GB Kingstone HyperX Fury running at 1866Mhz
MB which is a:Gigabyte GA-F2A85X-D3H - Updated to newest Bios

Please visit the link down below - i've uploaded 2 pictures with the timings i get in AIDA/CPU-Z & 1 with the wrong values the system currently runs.

If you need more info or something let me know. THANKS !! :bounce:

Looks like you are fine - in CPU-Z it shows right at 18666 (1863.6) timings 10-11-11-30 which is what you are actually running at. The Fury operate off PnP (Plug and Play, so they set themselves up to the best values they can to run 'properly'. The values in Aida are the info thats in the SPD of the DRAM, so often a timing may be off, and at times depending on the CPU you might find rigs running at 1600 rather than 1866 if it has a weaker CPU. If you want to change timings to say 10-11-10 or what ever, can try setting manually and then add about + 0.05 to the DRAM voltage and see if that helps

Is there a way to force it to work ?? with a software, like AOD ??

And why the hell wouldn't my MB not support that ?? it gives me options from quick settings to expert which gives me a lot of stuff to play with... :??:

If the motherboard is set to AUTO detect it may change to defaults. You may have to select XMP Profile or Manual Config to setup ram faster than 1600 on some motherboards.

Also, if your RAM voltage is set too low, or droops, or if your RAM is unstable at the rated voltage, the BIOS will reset it to auto-detected settings. So it is important to run MEMTEST for at least 3 successful passes after setting your RAM in BIOS to confirm stability.
