Im using the USB 2.0 ports and switching from one port to the other did not work. My MB is a MSI Z170I. Ive also confirmed that my BIOS is set to AHCI (not RAID)

Any ideas of what I could try to fix this or what drivers Im missing?

I have no optical drive but any pointers about what drivers I need to transfer from the MB's DVD to the USB drive would be very helpful.

Also, when I try to browse for the drivers I only see an X: drive which does not have the same directories as on my USB drive. For example, I downloaded the SATA drivers from MSI and copied them onto the USB to see if that helps. But when I try to browse for it I cant even find the files. Does this mean my USB is not being detected?

Thanks
