So this is my first PC I have built since 1997 (when I was a kid with my father), and since 2008 when I first started playing WoW and a few other games on a Mackbook

Current build plan: Get a nice computer that can play WoW/Overwatch/Homeworld/other old RTS games at 60+ FPS on high settings.

Additional Thoughts:

Was thinking about swaping my motherboard to (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128846) but I don't really see the point. My budget is fixed and I have to keep around $200 from my $1,000 price point for Windows and a monitor. Thank you all in advance!

Spending additional on 6600k CPU with a non- z170 board is pointless, z170 boards only can overclock the unlocked 6600k CPU, you could get a i5 6500 with a Gigabyte h110m-a motherboard and a aftermarket heatsink isn't required. With the additional money you'll have by going with these, you can now get a good GPU r9 380 or a r9 380x and try to get a 16gb ram

PSU is a low quality one, get EVGA,Seasonic,XFX 550w PSU instead, look for PSU tier list for good quality PSUs.

My budget is around 900-1000 USD but I'm pretty attached to Corsair air 240 case and having an SSD and a HDD. Just spent time at work piecing it together I know its probably pretty rough looking lol.

CPUs that end with K aren't worth it unless you get a mobo that overclocks (z170). You have a low quality PSU, you need a better one the one I got you is about the best quality 550W PSU. This build will dou you 60 fps at 1080p at medium, high settings.

Have a fun build :)

Probably shouldn't recommend a 120/128gb ssd for the os drive. I have a Kingston V300 128 ssd as well as a 128gb xp941 as the os drive and while windows 10 had about 60 or so gigs free, i was always looking at it to make sure if wasnt filling up. 240/256 is the way to go for an os drive.
