Just spent the last hour or so looking online for a large speed mat, so I figured Id post a thread in hopes that maybe someone already knows of one.

Im currently using the Logitech G440 Hard mat with my G602 Wireless mouse. I love it but I move my keyboard around and it scratches my custom built wood desk. No bueno.

I ordered the Kingston HyperX oversized mouse pad and the size is perfect but it has a slow cloth finish and wont wear well over time. I gave it to my wife.

Ive searched and searched for a similar sized pad (900x420mm; 35x16in) with a hard, slick, "speed" finish but came up empty.

Any feedback is appreciated, thanks.

Not sure if this would be what you are looking for, but have a look at the Dechanic Speed Edition mouse/desk pads. https://dechanic.com/collections/dechanic-speed-edition-mouse-pad I did a short review recently on the control and speed edition of these pads, which you may read here if interested. https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/573094-dechanic-mouse-pad-review/#comment-7507860

These are actually the first large mouse pads that I've owned and have no experience with any other to compare them to, but I will definitely buy these again when the time comes to replace them. Everyone that has seen mine, love them. They may or may not be what you're looking for, but give them a look and see what ya think.

Best of luck finding something.

I have been using the Kingston pad you listed daily for over a year now with zero sign of wear. I dont know what kind of use you are doing, but as someone who spends most of the day on the computer I see no reason not to use it.
The only difference I have found between "speed" and "slow" surfaces is how quickly the feet on your mouse wear down.

Well thats good to know about the wear and tear, but part of the problem is the cloth material being slower than hard mouse pads. Thank you for the input.

Man that 36 x 24 would be the perfect size but its also a cloth top. Starting to think no one makes them oversized in hard material like the Logitech.

I might go with that one and just try to get used to going back to the feel of cloth tops.

Really do appreciate the assistance guys.
