Specs:
Motherboard- GA-H61M S2PV
Proccessor- i5 intel 2380P
GPU- MSI 970 GTX
PSU- 600w corsair GS600
8GB RAM

I recently installed an MSI 970 GTX GPU and ever since, my pc has been freezing on the bios screen for a good 2-3 mins before booting into windows and starting up.
Before i installed this GPU, i was running with a zotac 650 TI and was used to my PC booting up fully within 15 seconds with my kingston SSD.
when i put my old GPU back in, it goes back to how it usually was but whenever i boot up with my new 970, i cant enter the BIOS no matter what keys i press and my PC takes a while to boot up..

Solution
I would hope you are on the F4 bios.
With the old card, enter the bios and disable quickboot. If you are using smart6 turn off quickboot there too.
I beleive quickboot's stored setting are causing the problem.

See if it works better with the 970 now. If soo after a few bootups (not restarts) try enabling quickboot again.
If that doesnt fix it then we may need to see if MSI has firmware for this card in a bios based motherbd.
