I am able to connect my phone over Wifi which means that my Internet connection is working fine and has no issues with ISP. But my PC is not getting connected to Internet which is connected with my Router via LAN cable. I get a yellow icon on my network connection Icon saying No Internet Access.

Following are the steps which I tried at my end to resolve the issue but that didn’t help:

1. Set the IP address to detect automatically which was by default.
2. Tried to disable IPv6.
3. Tried to disable my Kaspersky AV and tried again
4. Reinstalled Network Adapter
5. Rebooted and also re-configured my Router (TP Link router)

Any other ideas anyone would suggest will be much appreciated.

The yellow icon on your network connection Icon means the physical connection to the router is fine (Your phone should be able to see shared files on the pc). This means most probably is the router is not configured properly or there is no internet access at all (Using handphone to test is not accurate as it may switch to the 4G network auto).

Main router settings - DHCP enabled.

if your ISP required login with username and password, when you hard reset the router, you need to enter those in again.

other possible issue could be the modem (thats connected to the router) that you are using. (e.g lights on modem used to be stable, but now its blinking or no light at all)

if the modem is fine, it could be e.g the optical line connecting the modem to the wall source is broken or dropped out. Check out the modem and the modem line first before calling your ISP. If yours is using ADSL technology, the telephone line to the modem may be burned. replacing the telephone line would working immediately.
