I already have my 980 Ti FTW ACX 2.0 graphics card and I have 16 GB DDR3 Ram but I would like an upgrade in that too to DDR4.. Can someone suggest a build??? Some people suggested an I7 6700k CPU but I don't know.. I just want the best pc gaming combo I can get for no more than $1,200. And if the build can include around 3 TB hard drive, some even better ram, the best PSU I can get with that and motherboard..Basically, the best parts I could get for the price..Any suggestions????

I already have my monitor, mouse n keyboard and speakers and a GTX 980 Ti FTW with ACX 2.0...And would I need a sound chip?

I wanted to upgrade because my current pc specs are:

GTX 980 Ti FTW
Intel I7 950 @ 3.07 GHZ
16 GB DDR3 Ram @ 1600 MHZ
1.36 TB Hard Drive
Sabertooth X58 Motherboard
Earthwatts 650w antec continuous power, Model EA-650 green

That CPU is holding me back and the motherboard isn't compatible with newer CPU's and ram from what I know...

Someone in another board recommended this, what do you think..this is what he said:

What you SHOULD get for that graphics card.

Really? Some people told me my psu is too old and risky using with a 980 Ti..That's why I figured it would be better to upgrade it? Is the 6700k better or worse than the 5820k? I've heard that 6700k does better in benchmarks..is that true? I appreciate your input.

The 6700k is slightly stronger in single core performance but the 5820k has 2 more cores and 4 more threads. It's a lot better in multitasking and pretty much under any heavy cpu usage tasks. It's just a lot more powerful.

No harm in getting a new psu. You don't have to though. It would be fine.

Well I'd prefer to get a new PSU because mine is super old, anything you could recommend that might put the price in around $1,200 somehow? And you'd recommend the 5820k over 6700k for sure? It's a big choice for me...I'm all about maximum performance...

This uses a 6700k, which will outperform the 5820k in most games. It has a much better power supply and a different case, but the case is really up to you.
