My mouse doesn't work in my laptop all of a sudden but works when plugged into my Mac?

My mouse stopped working on my laptop for no reason overnight, I've checked drivers and reinstalled multiple times. The usb ports arent disabled in bios and other accessories work when connected to the ports. Not sure what to do, considering it works on my mac but not my computer anymore.

Try using a USB extension cable on the mouse. Could be a mouse USB plug problem and a different "fit" (i.e., the mac vs your laptop) makes things work.

Try the mouse on another non-mac computer or laptop.

Need to narrow the problem down to the mouse or to specifically your laptop.
