I was wondering if my rig could run ac unity at high settings 50fps. I have a gtx 960 4gb fx 8320 8gb. I found the game for 12€ and if it's worth good for me, but if not i would like to know if ac syndicate is a better option for the money. I saw numerous youtube videos but there are lots of mixed performances.

Thank you!

I doubt you'll be able to run it on high at 50+ fps. This benchmark is kinda old but it gives you an idea:

If you look at 1080p High you can see that the 970 is struggling to make 50fps with an i7 CPU. I would imagine you'd be looking at closer to 30fps than 50 in medium graphics. In the second benchmark the 970 makes 60fps average but that is again with an i7 CPU.

So all the benchamrks of gtx 960 getting 45-60fps with an i5 are fake and rhe real truth is that ac unity is still a broken mess? And what do you think about ac syndicate at high, i saw some better results there but maybe they are not true.

Those benchmarks with GTX 960 getting 45FPS might not be faked. Patch 5 from February 2015 improved frame rates a lot compared to the old version from November 20 2014 when anandtech did their benchmarks on the early broken version of the game. I'd expect you will get stable 40FPS at high settings at least.

I haven't played it personally (I happen to have a 960) but it sounds like it might be a similar story. Things might have improved and a lot of places don't really revisit their benchmarks. I don't know about if benchmarks are fake the first one I looked up was a 960 on Ultra @1080 and it dipped into the 20's going as high as the 40's in quiet areas. It looked about right for an average in the 30's. There doesn't seem to be a huge difference between Ultra and High in AC:Unity the R9 280 on that benchmark went from 20 to 26 fps average.

So is it worth buying or is syndicate a better buy?

Besides FPS, I think you should also buy a game you will like to play. I have both Unity and Syndicate. I like Syndicate 10 times more than Unity because of much improved animations and overall combat system. Also in Syndicate you can play with 2 characters and choose to play missions with any of them. More diversity and fun, at least for me.

I saw lots of gameplay videos for both and i simply can't decide! I would like to know how's the performance, story, content and which game is more fun. I would also like to know how much increase would i get if i oc my gpu.
