Are the following GPU,CPU, and Motherboard Compatible?

Solution

first of all getting a 6600k without getting a "z" series motherboard is pointless. i'd either get a lesser, non-overclockable cpu, or spend a little more to get a z series motherboard

second that cpu/gpu are "unbalanced" - you're getting a state of the art cpu and matching it with a gpu that would hold back a 5 year old AMD piledriver cpu. makes no sense to me. but to each their own.

third, DDR3 ram with a skylake cpu? what's the point? get yourself one of the devil...

yes they are all compatible, although using a 6600k with a no z170 motherboard means you can't overclock it and overclocking is rather the point of the 6600k. You could go with the i5 6500 and use the money saved to go for a gtx 950/ r9 370. Probbaly the gtx 950

Yeah, but I'm okay with it being just at 3.5GHz, w/o overclocking. Also, all of the parts listed can run with a 400w power supply, and DDR3 instead of DDR3-L?

The 6500 will be at the same preformance as the 6600k without overclocking. Staying with the 600k and you current gpu will offer much worse preformance than the. I5 6500 and the gtx 950. Trust me, you can ask anyone
