Hi, i'm trying to make as budget as possible pc for my dad. Ideally want to play latest titles, such as Wither 3, GTA 5, Fallout 4 and Far Cry primal with reasonable fps and graphics.
I won't be able to afford a good FHD pc so i decided to go wit 1600x900 monitor, that should help with fps. i'll list my options in order of perfomance/price increase and want you opinion on whitch should be enought.
1) x4 860k + 750ti for 200$
2) x4 860k + gt950 for 235$
3) i3-6100 + gt950 for 295$
4) i3-6100 + gt960 for 340$
other parts are static so i don't count them in price
8GB DDR3 1866 / DDR4 2133
ssd samsung 840 evo
monitor Dell E2016H (19.5", 1600x900)
what do you think of those options, do i really need i3 for 900p gaming and is 750ti enough or better go to 950 ?
update: many people suggest to go with i3 but it's twice as costly as 860k and also a bit overkill for 900p ? i mean i can't really hope for good fps at fhd with 950 or even 960 anyway so why can't i run with 860k and 900p instead?
update2: i totally agree with ppl saying i5 (and probably gt970 or 980) is better for gaming but where is "budget" here?
