Hi guys, could you help me please,

looking to build my first gaming pc for about 450-500

mostly playing WOT and CS

no monitor/keyboar/mouse is required, also i do have Hard drives, so no need to include them.

Also could you advise whether to have Intel or AMD?

Thank You.

Solution
Nothing wrong with the build above

HOWEVER

I strongly suggest if you have money available right now then grab this offer while it's on & go from there.
I know you said you have hard drives but a free ssd is never a bad thing.

Hi,
thanks, but i do have a hard drive. Any chance of getting i5 if there is one available

Total cost of the i3+SSD=HDD is about 170 quid, so you could squeeze an i5 into the mix, if only just, the downside is that an i5 is going to be a bit slower (lower clockspeed) which may not help too much with either WOT or CS.
The i5 6500 is about £170, the slightly faster i5 6600 about £190 and the even faster 6600K is about the £200 mark.
Good news is that the little Asus B150M-A MB supports all these CPUs: https://www.asus.com/uk/Motherboards/B150M-A/HelpDesk_CPU/
Personally, I'd suggest you try for the i5 option, it'll be so much stronger in other, more CPU intensive titles and won't be such a restriction when/if you move up the GPU food chain later on.

grabmadmatt30 his combo its a steal!!!.
and no dont use used hard drives in ur new pc.
the i5 6400 is worth it if u can afford it, its basicly 20 pounds more if do it in combination with madmatt30 his combo
