Is it okay for you to buy the CPU cooler somewhere else, such as online? The cryorig h7 is better then the EVO because it is quieter and same performance. and are you trying to fit a full atx motherboard into a micro atx case? And where's the power supply? Get a good quality unit, as by the PSU tier list 2.0. And why double some links?

If building for the first time I would recommend getting a non-overclocking build, since it might be a bit complicated to dive straight into overclocking. For example change the i5 4690K into a non-K, you might even want to downgrade to a i5 4460. It will still perform very well in all games. The motherboard can also then be changed to a H-series motherboard. Both would be alot cheaper, and the money than can be used for ram memory which you seem to be missing, and you could also consider adding a SSD drive for(much) faster drive performance.

If there is anything you definitely need to change it is that 1600x900 monitor, get at least a 1080p monitor (1920x1080).

I don't know if you are bound to Microcenter, but you can put together a PC on pcpartspicker.com, which also shows you the cheapest prices taken form the biggest (online) retailers and can indicate whether parts are compatible or not.

Overclocking is pretty simple. ALso, that means if he wants to overclock in the future, he won't have to spend a ton of money on a new mobo and CPU.
