So i'm ordering from a website called NCIX. I'm getting a 970 but the thing that worries me is when it's shipped that someones gonna snag off my porch and i lose 300 dollars. I'f i'm not will they take it the post office? I also live in the US. Is their a way to tell them to ship to like a post office if no one is home or ring my doorbell to see if anyone is home or even a signature.

There should be a place to specify additional information, or you can contact their customer support.
If you have a way to ship it to the post office, I would simply tell them to drop it off there.

I specified them to ring my doorbell and if no one answers i told them to leave a note and take it the post office. Will they actually take it to me? Will I need like a a code or like peice of paper to verfiy that it is my package at the post office?

If a package is too big for my mailbox and no one is home, my mailman keeps the package and leaves a pickup slip in my mailbox. I take the slip to the post office after 9am and get the package. Maybe this depends on your city/town? Only FedEx and UPS leave the package on my porch, but I had to give them written permission to do so.

Yeah, I had to go into their office and sign a card that says I accept the risk of losing the package, blah, blah, blah. Basic CYA stuff for them. But my USPS mailman never leaves the package if I'm not here.
