I am running my pc on 4GB DDR3 1333mhz ram. I wanna upgrade it to 8GB. My question is , my motherboard is Intel DH61WW which according to intel's site supports frequency of 1066,1333,1600 and o.c.

So I have found a Corsair vegeance 8gig stick which is clocked at 1600mhz so will it work at 1600 mhz or will the ram adjust the frequency to 1333mhz coz prior intel showed my mobo as 1333mhz compatible only. So pls help me.

it will auto adjust to 1333mhz if you already have 1333mhz ram in there

if just that stick on its own will likely still run 1333mhz and you would have to try 1600mhz manually

Officially. Just like Skylake only supports 2133 Mhz officially but people run with 3400 Mhz RAM.

1600 Mhz will most likely work. If it doesn't, downclock RAM to 1333 Mhz (and tighten timings), theres minimal difference anyway between 1333 and 1600.
