Need help to decide this, gtx 960 + 22 monitor or gtx 970 + 19 monitor ?

hey guys !
so i'm looking to buy a new graphic card but i can also get a new 22 monitor, and i'm confused whether i should get the gtx 960 + 22 monitor or gtx 970 but if i buy gtx 970 i will stick with my 19 monitor that i've been using untill now. Because i can't afford gtx 970 + 22 monitor since i have limited budget.

Short answer: if you can upgrade later your monitor, get the GTX 970, it will give you better performance in future games. Otherwise, get the GTX 960.

Long Answer: it depends on your upgrading path. There is a substantial difference between the GTX 960 and the GTX 970 but both will have plenty of power for 1080p, however, you'll be able to play with greater details with this card. it may be a good idea to get this card if you can upgrade your monitor later.

On the other hand, if you don't plan to buy anything after that, it will be better to get the GTX 960 since it will be more than sufficient for the 22in, allowing you to play in FHD. The GTX 970 is an overkill for anything less than FHD.
