If you have the install media (DVD/USB) you could try the repair utility. I've had some success with this.
how would i do that?
Sorry, edited my post quick. Anyways...try pressing F8 starting during POST. If you get to a boot menu select "Start Windows Normally", then check msconfig as advised. If you can't get this to work you will need either a DVD install disk with your version of windows, or a USB stick with same. You'll need to boot from this so getting into the BIOS to change boot order will be the next step. Try F8 and see how it goes.
