Do I need to fill all CPU sockets on MoBo? Asus Z10PE-D16 Dual LGA2011-3

I'm building a machine on the Asus Z10PE-D16 MoBo, and planning on only using 1 of the 2 CPU sockets initially (1 Xeon E5-2637 v3).

Will this create any issue for me?

I will only be using 64 GB of the possible 1TB of RAM.

Yes as long as you used the CPU 1 socket. With some caveats though. if any PCIe slots are tied to CPU 2, those lanes won't work. Now the hope is that ethernet , accessories, etc runs through the first processor, but some boards it will not work.

EDIT: I just checked the manual for your board, the above should not be an issue, with the CPU in CPU1 and Memory in the slots A and B near it, it will work fine.
