Urgent help required: GPU upgrade solutions

Hello guys,

I have a fixed budget and all I want to know is the difference between a Zotac Gtx 960 4gb vs Zotac gtx 960 4gb amp edition. Apart from the obvious clockspeed difference, the amp edition has open gl 4.5 Does that make any difference?

Any suggestion or comment will be helpful.

They are the same GPU, so they will have the same vital stats aside from clock speeds. They will both have Open GL 4.5 if that is what Nvidia specifies for the GPU.

I believe the AMP should have a different cooler, and maybe a custom PCB which may help when overclocking. Would have to see the exact SKU to tell you more.
