I have the i7 4790k, overclocked to 4.9 GHz, at 1.318 V, and I have it set so the cpu throttles its speed as needed, (800 MHz - 4900 MHz). On HWMonitor, occasionally it records my maximum cpu frequency as up to 5 GHz, but always at random values like 5018 MHz, or 4986 MHz, is this correct? Is my cpu throttling up that high on it's own, or is it just a faulty reading on the program?
