Hey guys!,

I just installed a new gtx 780 ti and ran a benchmark to test it and when the test gets to the part where it plays a video (guessing its testing the GPU) my computer restarts suddenly. I was wondering if this is a PSU (750W) problem or if it is possibly the 2x 4 pin molex to 8 pin adaptor setup i am using because my PSU has a 6 pin and a 6 pin + 2 pin, no 8 pins. The GPU has 2x 8 pin and I have connected one of the 8 pins with a 2x 6 pin to 8 pin adaptor provided with the GPU.

Also the benchmark worked when i used my old gtx 760, though it did say that the gpu was WAY below standards. Yet to test my new gpu in action though.

Any help is much appreciated!!

right off the bat, the psu is garbage and you using adapters is making it worse

you need a proper one with the pcie cables required

tier 1 or 2 from this list, 650w or better
